Apply 4 coats to Cone 04 bisque, then fire to Cone 5-6; glaze performs best at Cone 6 but can be fired to Cone 5. 16 oz. (473 mL) jar. Crystals will develop on both horizontal and vertical clay surfaces; vertical surfaces will encourage running. These glazes can be fired in a normal medium-speed firing with no special cooling schedule required. To take this glaze to the next level, use a controlled cooling scheduled for increased crystal growth. For best results, leave inside or back of form unglazed to avoid pinholing; if glazing a piece all the way to the end of the foot, use a drip tray to protect kiln shelves. Not recommended for surfaces which come into contact with food and drink due to durability.
